Description

Eglin AFB FL has a requirement to Repair Lightning Protection System, Building 8640, Eglin AFB FL. This project is a Total HUBZone Set-Aside. Any HUBZone certified firm who otherwise meets the requirements of the project will be eligible to submit a quote (See FAR 52.219-3). In general, work will consist of removing existing lightning protection systems and installing new lightning protection/static grounds and associated equipment at Site C-6, Eglin AFB FL. The above general description of work does not in any way limit the responsibility of the contractor to perform all work and furnish all labor, materials, and equipment complete in accordance with the plans and specifications. Estimated dollar range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Performance period is ninety (90) calendar days. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the agency. No response to this notice is necessary and no Source List will be maintained. Firms responding should indicate if they are a small business. This is a paperless acquisition. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be issued, but the RFQ will be available on the Federal Government's Electronic Posting System (www.eps.gov). See Note 26.
