- Supervisor of Shipbuilding, C&R, USN intends to award a firm-fixed price contract in accordance with FAR 13.302 to Wartsila Lips, Inc., 3617 Koppens Way, Chesapeake, VA 23323 for the following item: Item 0001: Stern Tube Seal Overhaul Kit, P/N: WLP001257-001A, Qty: 2 each. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The proposed acquisition is being processed utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures on an other than full and open competitive basis. See numbered notes 1 and 22. It is anticipated that award will take place on or before 02 June 2003.
