- Services to provide for the continuity of Engineering/Technical Services in support to the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, NH. This procurement is a Cost Plus Fixed Fee, Level of Effort, Indefinite Quantity Contract. The contract period for these services will be approximately 9 months or until a follow-on contract is awarded. The estimated level of effort is 38,300 man-hours of various labor categories to include, but not limited to, Project Manager, Naval Architect, Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics Engineer, Engineering Technician, Draftsperson, Quality Assurance/Equipment/Technical Specialist, Mathematician/Computer Programmer, Logistician, Editorial Clerk and Word Processor. Negotiations will be conducted with Systems Intregrations & Research, Inc. 6800 Versar Center, Suite 300, Springfield, VA on a sole source basis. (Note 22) applies. This synopsis is issued f or subcontracting opportunities. A separate competitive solicitation N00102-03-R-1905 is currently being drafted and will be available on or about 7 March 2003 on Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) which can be accessed at http://www.neco.navy.mil.
