Description

Navajo Area Indian Health Services (NAIHS), Crownpoint Healthcare Facility located in Crownpoint, New Mexico intends to negotiate a one-time, sole source, firm fixed priced contract with SACRED WIND COMMUNICATIONS, INC., 7801 Academy RD NE STE 2-103, Albuquerque, New Mexico, 87109 to furnish and install a mobile wireless system delivering bandwidth to support healthcare data and video communications for the Crownpoint IHS facility and Pueblo Pintado Clinic. This acquisition is in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), as only responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency�s requirements. SACRED WIND COMMUNICATIONS, INC is the only service provider who provides this service in the area. Crownpoint Service Unit and Pueblo Pintado Clinic are located in the eastern side of the Navajo Reservation in a remote location. The remoteness of both areas has been subject to frequent network disruptions and outages in the region. Applying another service for a dual network design will optimize network services to minimize network disruptions and outages in the region. This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive proposals. There will be no solicitation available for competitive quotes. Only emailed responses will be considered. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence, that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. Last day to provide affirmative written response is June 4th, 2025 at 08:00am EST. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement base upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. Any solicitation resulting from the analysis of information obtained will be announced to the public in Federal Business Opportunities in accordance with the FAR Part 5. However, responses to this notice will not be considered adequate responses to a solicitation. No proprietary, classified, confidential, or sensitive information should be included in your response. The Government reserves the right to use any non-proprietary technical information in any resultant solicitation(s).
