Description
This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Moody AFB is looking for a company that can conduct the demo, repair, and replacement of multiple shelters and storage buildings on Moody AFB and Grassy Pond (Lake Park, GA). The replacement of the plywood sub-floor and installation of VCT tile and base at the Splatter Swamp Paintball Course on Moody AFB. The damages were incurred during Hurricane Helene, necessitating the demolition of three (3) buildings, the repair of one (1) building, and the full replacement of three (3) buildings. The objective of the project is to restore the structural integrity, functionality, safety, and aesthetics of all the shelters and storage buildings, and restore the structural integrity, functionality, safety, and aesthetics of the 12x20 building at Moody AFB. 3.1 10'x15' Aluminum Screened Picnic Shelter at the Splatter Swamp Paintball Course (Moody AFB) (Demolition) o Overall Dimensions: 10'x15' o Material � Aluminum framing � Screened enclosure o Site Preparation, Demolition, and Installation � Picnic shelter currently has electricity running to it to power outdoor fan and for electrical outlets that will need to be disconnected before demolishing begins � Customer will remove all materials and tables currently located inside of the building. � Contractor will safely remove and dispose of the entire picnic shelter into a contractor provided dumpster located on-site. � Contractor will utilize proper PPE and ensure the workspace is clean of debris. 3.2 10'x15' Aluminum Screened Picnic Shelter at the Splatter Swamp Paintball Course (Moody AFB) (Replacement) o Overall Dimensions: 10'x15' o Material � Aluminum framing o Installation � 2'x8' Joist with 5/4� decking as flooring � Aluminum framing system on walls and rafters � Heavy-duty fiberglass screen to help with high winds � Metal roof � Outdoor fan with light � One door with appropriate hardware � Provide wooden steps from ground to be able to get into the screened in shelter through the door � Ensure that the building is level 3.3 10'x15' Aluminum Screened Picnic Shelter at the Splatter Swamp Paintball Course (Moody AFB) (Repair) o Overall Dimensions: 10'x15' o Material � Aluminum Framing � Screened enclosure o Repair and Demo � Remove old screen and replace with Heavy-duty fiberglass screen to help with high winds � Remove and replace damaged door latch � Repair damaged metal roof � Level the picnic shelter 3.4 20'x12'x8' Metal Storage Shed with Vinyl Siding at the Splatter Swamp Paintball Course (Moody AFB) (Demolition) o Overall Dimensions: 20'x12'x8' o Material � Metal building with vinyl siding o Site Preparation, Demolition, and Installation � Metal storage building has no utilities running to it � Customer will remove all materials from inside of the building � Contractor will safely remove and dispose of the entire metal storage shed into a contractor provided dumpster located on-site. � Contractor will utilize proper PPE and ensure the workspace is clean of debris. 3.5 20'x12'x8' Metal Storage Shed at the Splatter Swamp Paintball Course (Moody AFB) (Replacement) o Overall Dimensions: 20'x12'x8' o Material � Wooden Storage Shed o Site Preparation and Installation � Level out the ground where the new storage shed is going � Hardi siding on exterior � 2'x4' pine framing on the walls � �� plywood painted on interior � 2'x8'treated framing on floor joist � �� plywood subfloor with VCT (or equivalent) flooring � Roof trusses will be 2'x4's, metal roofing, and exposed interior trusses 3.6 12'x30' 1 EA Wooden Storage Shed at Equipment Rental (Moody AFB) and 1 EA Grassy Pond (Lake Park, GA) (Replacement) o Overall Dimensions: 12'x30' o Material � R-lap steel with steel framing o Site Preparation and Installation � Flooring and skids are pressure treated wood � Two (2) sets of double doors 72�x72� with one set on the side of the building and one set on the front of the building for each of loading and offloading equipment � Must have the ability to lock the doors � Two (2) sets of 6x6 ramps for use with the double doors � Must have the ability to lock the doors � Two (2) windows on the front of the building � One (1) 48� walk-in door 3.7 12'x28' Wooden Storage Shed at Equipment Rental (Moody AFB) (Demolition) o Overall Dimensions: 12'x28' o Material � Wooden storage shed o Site Preparation, Demolition, and Installation � Wooden storage building has no utilities running to it � Customer will remove all materials from inside of the building � Contractor will safely remove and dispose of the entire wooden storage shed into a contractor provided dumpster located on-site. � Contractor will utilize proper PPE and ensure the workspace is clean of debris. Standard 1-year warranty to be provided by Contractor. 3.8 Equipment Requirements � All Equipment Required to Complete this Project in Its Entirety Shall Be Supplied by the Contractor � Contractor is responsible for providing their own dumpster to be located on-site and portable restroom. � Customer commits to providing a staging area close to the worksite 23d FSS requires the demolition of sub-flooring and existing tiles and the installation of new sub-flooring and VCT tiles for the 12x20 Main Building at the Splatter Swamp Paintball Course (Moody AFB). 12x20 Main Building at Splatter Swamp Paintball Course (Moody AFB) o Overall Dimensions: 12'x20' Portable Building o Material � VCT tile and base � Plywood sub-flooring o Site Preparation, Demolition, and Installation � Customer will remove all materials and equipment currently located inside of the building. � Contractor will remove and dispose of the existing flooring and sub-flooring into a customer provided dumpster located on-site. � Install new � plywood sub-floor throughout the building � Install VCT tile and base � VCT tile color to be chosen by customer before work begins Standard 1-year warranty to be provided by Contractor. A site visit will be conducted on Friday, June 6th, @1000. Following, questions will be due Tuesday, June 10th, @1000. Refer to Statement of Work (SOW) for any additional details. This is a commercial product and will be performed IAW FAR pt. 12, commercial items. FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation - The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: item technical capability, and lowest price technically acceptable. Bids MUST include an action plan with their submission, detailing the work to be done and how it will be accomplished.
