Good day, SDVOSB s, VOSB s This Sources Sought is issued solely for informational and planning purposes only.� It does not constitute the issuance of a solicitation or a promise to issue a solicitation in the future.� The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research and obtain information from qualified SDVOSB and VOSB businesses.� This is not a request for bids, quotes, offers, or proposals. The responses to this announcement will assist in determining the socio-economic status such as a SDVOSB set-aside if feasible.� If insufficient SDVOSB responses are received to establish the basis for setting this requirement aside for SDVOSB s, the requirement may be solicited as a VOSB or a SB set aside in which case all interested parties responding shall be eligible to compete. 1. GENERAL: The C.W. Bill Young VA Medical Center s Surgery Service requires one Medtronic Stealth Station Fusion Cart BRAND NAME ONLY, used for precisely locating anatomical structures in either open or percutaneous procedures. 2. SCOPE: The StealthStation S8 is an intraoperative surgical navigation system that is used to guide ENT procedures. It is a computer-based workstation that loads MRI and CT scans and uses an optical or electromagnetic tracking system that co-registers the patient s anatomy with the MRI/CT scans and tracks sterile instruments during surgery. The current device has reached end of life, and the need was identified by Dr. Hall. 3. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: The Contractor shall provide the full requested quantity of products listed below. Requirement Overview: Salient Characteristics NAME BRAND - Equipment Requirement: QTY. 1 - #9735669TIKIT1 Stealthstation ENT Cart Kit ($99,125.00 EA) QTY. 1 - #9735736 Stealthstation ENT Software ($49,400.00) QTY. 1 - #9735960 ENT Side Emitter ($7,930.00) Equipment Requirement: Electromagnetic technology for image-guided surgery. Must provide imagine registration, visualization, and modeling features. Virtual endoscopy to provide a simulated 3D endoscopic view. Must provide choice of side or flat emitter for easy and safe positioning. Must have Patient registration feature for visual accuracy feedback. Must have 3D modeling to provide enriched visualization of the patient s anatomy and pathology. Unit must have 2 electromagnetic emitter designs and must have each with large tracking volume. The unit must include 1 terabyte solid-state drive for ample space to store large patient exams. System must also include 16GB of RAM memory for fast performance and image manipulation. Surgical navigation system must have a Multi-Dimensional surgical imaging system. There must be storage options for accessories. Complete unit must allow full mobility for use between concurrent theaters/ORs. Navigation equipment must have wireless connectivity to hospital and medical devices, allowing the import and export of exams from anywhere within the hospital network Surgical navigation system Operating system must adapt to any 16:9 aspect ratio with resolutions up to full HD 1920 x 1080, for flexibility utilizing multiple screens in the OR Unit must have digital and analog output that allows integration Complete navigation system must be compatible with a range of operating tables Company must include on-site training and support Scan merge must combine an unlimited number of exams (CT, CTA, MRI, MRA, PET CT). Registration must have FOV scans, back EM Fram, delayed failure message, intuitive touchpoints and streamlines auto refine feature Must have pre-plan surgical path in all three planes with customizable colors, Instrument visibility must show the most rigid navigated instruments 4.PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: The product is requested to be delivered to Surgery Service, building 100, MOR. 10,000 Bay Pines Blvd, Bay Pines, Florida 33744, via the Warehouse Building 36 for Equipment.
