- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, located in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to solicit for the provision of Transition Coach Services as prescribed below at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) located at 4004 East Arkona Road Milan, Michigan 48160. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirement type contract with firm fixed pricing. The contract period will consist of a base period from date of award through 12 months, with four (4) one-year option periods and an optional six-month extension. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code is 813110 � Religious Organizations, (Size Standard of $13.0 Million). This solicitation will be set aside for small business concerns. General Information regarding the BOP is located at www.bop.gov. The Transition Coach Services will normally be provided Monday through Friday, excluding Federal holidays. The contractor will provide approximately 30 sessions each week up to a total of 1,440 sessions per year. A session is defined as one (1) hour. The Transition Coach will work during program hours with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. The schedule may include some weekend and/or evening hours based on program needs. The breakdown of hours will be determined locally. The Transition Coach will be an integral part of FCI Milan�s Life Connections Program (LCP) and will provide religious coaching for Adult in Custody (AIC) participants. The contractor will develop programs and seminars, track AIC community service hours, provide information on jobs in the community, and provide counseling for transition of AIC participants in the Bureau of Prisons Residential Life Connections Program. This is a multi-faith program, so the contractor will be expected to foster relationships with a broad variety of religious communities including but not limited to Protestant, Catholic, Muslim, Jewish, Pagan, Buddhist, etc. The solicitation will be made available on or about April 5, 2024, and will be distributed solely through the website at www.sam.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation and amendments, will be distributed solely through this website.
