Description
402-23-102 Medical Gas System Upgrade Togus, Maine VA Medical Center Procurement Number: 36C24123R0150 This is a pre-solicitation notice synopsizing an upcoming competitive solicitation satisfying the requirements of FAR 5.201 and FAR 5.203. A Request for Proposal will be posted on or about Monday, July 3, 2023. The Medical Gas Systems Upgrade project will consist of construction activities to correct all noted medical gas deficiencies from the attached report (SOW Attachment 01 Medical Gas Inspection Report), as well as installing a new medical air compressor and vacuum/WAGD pumps in building 200E and Building 207. Contractor is responsible for confirming all equipment installed is appropriately sized for existing needs and any planned future expansions. This work is to include all final operational testing for every piece of equipment, testing reports should be included as part of close-out documentation. Work is to be performed by licensed ASSE 6010 Medical Gas System Installers and ASSE 6040 Medical Gas System Maintenance Personnel. Third party inspection, testing, and verification are mandatory for medical gas work and will be performed by licensed ASSE 6020 Medical Gas Inspectors and ASSE 6030 Medical Gas Verifiers. The med gas system should be turned over and ready for use to the VA at the completion of the project. The magnitude of this project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. The NAICS code for this procurement is 238220 and the size standard is $19 Million. The solicitation is being issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) under FAR Part 15. This solicitation is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business set-aside.
