Description
LOCK AND DAM 6, FIXED CREST SPILLWAY REHABILITATION, TREMPEALEAU, WISCONSIN. Work generally consists of, but is not limited to, providing all plant, labor, equipment and materials necessary to complete the rehabilitation of the spillway at Lock and Dam 6. Work involves providing erosion protection above and below the water line, consisting of excavation, placement of bedding and riprap around the concrete spillway abutment walls and on approximately 370-meters of Corps of Engineers earth embankment; repairing approximately 900 square meters of deteriorated concrete spillway surfaces, consisting of concrete saw cutting, concrete removal, installation of concrete anchor bolts and rebars, and placement of concrete. This work will require dewatering of the upstream face of the concrete spillway; removal and replacement of all the concrete baffle blocks; construct monolith joints consisting of preformed joint filler and sealant; raise the existing concrete spillway abutment walls by the placement of cast-in-place concrete anchored to the existing concrete with rebars grouted in drilled holes; investigate and fill voids beneath the concrete spillway by drilling holes through the concrete, determining the extent of voids, and filling the voids with sand and grout. THIS PROCUREMENT IS ISSUED UNRESTRICTED UNDER THE SMALL BUSINESS COMPETITIVE DEMONSTRATION PROGRAM (PUBLIC LAW 100-656). NORTH AMERICAN INDUSTRY CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM (NAICS) CODE IS 234990; SMALL BUSINESS SIZE STANDARD IS $27.5 MILLION AVERAGE ANNUAL GROSS REVENUE OF THE CONCERN TAKEN FOR THE LAST THREE FISCAL YEARS. The estimated magnitude of construction in terms of physical characteristics and estimated price is $1million and $5 million. In the event the apparent low bid amount exceeds $1 million, and the firm recommended for award is a large business, it will be necessary for that firm to submit a subcontracting plan, which will be subject to approval, prior to award. For the purposes of formulating the subcontracting plan, in the event it is necessary, the following non-legal binding goals applicable to all subcontracting utilized in the performance of the contract are provided for informational purposes only: Small Business 61.4%, Small Disadvantaged Business 9.1%, Women-Owned Small Business 5.0%, HUBZone Small Business Maximum Percent (%) Practicable, Veteran-Owned Small Business 3.0%, and Subcontract Reporting (SF 294 & SF 295) 100%.
