Description

The solicitation is for trash collection services at the Internal Revenue Cincinnati Service Center through a firm fixed-price contract. The contractor shall provide the management, supervision, labor, materials, tools, equipment and transportation necessary for solid waste (trash) collection and disposal services. The contractor shall provide one 42 cubic yard container, one 4 cubic yard container, and one 2 cubic yard container as specified in the trash collection schedule, and perform collection services on other than Government holidays, in accordance with this schedule. The contractor shall also collect, remove and dispose of any incidental trash that may be under or around the containers or that may fall from the truck. All trash shall be removed from the premises. The resultant contact will also require additional pick-ups for the 42 cubic yard dumpster and a locking mechanism on the 4-cubic yard container (the lock will be provided by the service center). The acquisition will be 100% set-aside for small businesses. Interested parties shall submit bids in accordance with instructions contained in the solicitation. The resultant contract will include a base and 4 option periods. The solicitation will be posted electronically on or about January 14, 2002.
