Description

The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, San Diego (SSC-SD) intends to award an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity type contract to Power Solutions International LLC (PSI). The procurement will be conducted using other than full and open competition pursuant to FAR 6.302-1. The contract will provide for maintenance and repair services of DC to AC Static Power Inverters on board the USS Dolphin. The services will include emergency maintenance, upgrades/modifications, spares provisioning, systems engineering services, and training. The power inverters were purchased as modified commercial products manufactured by MAGL Power, Inc. of Torrance, CA. MAGL has dissolved and principle designers now work for PSI of Los Alamitos, CA. SSC SD intends to award this procurement on a sole source basis to PSI. Numbered Note 22 applies.
