Description

: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals ar e being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is DAKF06-02-T-0012 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Fed eral Acquisition Circular 97-20. This will be a 100% small business set aside (NAICS: 336212 size standard 500). Responses should be quoted in accordance with the following: CLIN 0001 HORSE TRAILER Horse trailer must meet the following specifications. Aluminum six-horse head to head with an extra hole tie for seven-horse capacity. Size of the trailer must be eight feet high by eight feet wide by approximately thirty-two feet long. Side-loading ramp s on each side of trailer as well as a loading ramp in the rear of the trailer. The inside of the trailer must have ventilation vents, windows, interior lights, stall dividers and gates, ring or mounted ties, butt or chest bar and a work space of six feet between stalls. Trailer must have a heavy- duty suspension and 8K axles with spare tire. Hay rack at least 8X15 and ladder mounted. At least six saddle racks and bridle hooks. The nose of the trailer must be reinforced for heavy towing and ball must b e able to adjust up and down for different size vehicles. Warranty: Provide with quote-standard commercial warranty information. Delivery will be to Central Receiving Point, Bldg 330, Fort Carson, CO 80913 by 1 Feb, 2002. Delivery will be FOB Destination. The provision at FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items and FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions are applicable to this solicitation. Offerors shall include with their offers a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3 Offero r Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items.
