Description

The Seattle District, Corps of Engineers intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Salish Kootenai College, Pablo, MT under authority 10 USC 2304 ) (1) for Professional Curation and Cultural Resource Management Services. This professional curation s ervice and technical expertise is unique to the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribe of the Flathead Reservation at Libby Dam and Lake Koocanusa. Professional curation provides for the collecting, preserving, cataloging, and maintaining of property. Th is includes planning for the relocation of collections and storage equipment to new vault space; organize records and materials in addition to providing professional support for archaeological studies at specific sites. The Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribe s ceded lands include most of the project s cultural resources from the dam to the vicinity of Libby, Montana. Salish Kootenai College is primary curator for NAGPRA action in that area and with respect to those sites. The North American Industry C lassification System (NAICS) Code is 54199 and the Standard Industrial Code (SIC) is 7389 with size standard of $ 5 million. This solicitation will be issued as an Electronic Bid Set (EBS) on Seattle District U S Army Corps of Engineers Contracting Web page in electronic format only at the following site http://www.nws.usace.army.mil/ct/ .
