Description

The General Services Administration (GSA), Northeast and Caribbean Region, requires Elevator Maintenance Services at the Kenneth B. Keating Federal Building (FB) and US Courthouse (CH), 100 State Street, Rochester, New York. The performance period is for a three-year base with two one-year option periods. The contractor shall provide all management, supervision, labor, material, supplies, and equipment (except as otherwise provided), and shall plan, schedule, coordinate, and ensure effective performance of all services described herein. The Keating FB and CH is a 6-story structure on the North Side with and 2-story structure on the South Side that includes 5 passenger elevators and 1 freight elevator. A site visit is encouraged. This procurement is open to both large and small business concerns. All responsible sources may submit a response to the RFQ that shall be considered by the agency. The Request for Quotation (including amendments if applicable) will be available only through the Governmentwide point of entry (GPE) on the Internet at: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be issued. The web site provides instructions for downloading the solicitation file. Interested parties will be responsible to monitor this site for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any). The RFQ is tentatively scheduled to be posted to the web site on December 3, 2001. The NAICS Code is 811310 with a business size standard of $5 million. The RFQ due date is December 20, 2001. All responses to the RFQ will be evaluated in accordance with FAR 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. This announcement represents the Government's official information on this project.
