TOHONO O'ODHAM NATION Advertisement for Bids Solicitation No. WPO-113-01 Notice is hereby given that the Tohono O'odham Nation Water Projects Office will receive sealed bids on the labor, equipment, and materials necessary for the construction of the Schuk Toak New Farm Development Maintenance Facility. The Water Projects Office will not accept offers that do not reflect a "mirror image" of the solicitation. The entire solicitation document must be competed and submitted, along with any required certifications, bonds, and documentation. Offerors shall furnish an offer (bid) guarantee in the form of a firm commitment, such as a bid bond, postal money order, certified check, cashier's check or irrevocable letter of credit, for not less than twenty percent (20%) of the contract price or $3,000,000.00 whichever is lower. Each bid must be submitted on the bid forms and in accordance with the drawings and specifications on file at the Tohono O'odham Nation, Water Projects Office, 2731 E. Elvira Rd., Suite 121, Tucson, AZ 85706. Those wishing to bid may purchase the solicitation package at Reproductions, Inc., 234 E. 6th St., Tucson, AZ 85705, (520) 622-7747. Solicitation packages will be available beginning November 1, 2001. Estimated completion date for this construction project is September 30, 2002. Sealed bids will be accepted until 4:00 P.M. on December 7, 2001, by the Tohono O'odham Nation, Water Projects Office, 2731 E. Elvira Rd., Suite 121, Tucson, AZ 85706. Bids will be opened and read publicly at that time. No telegraphic or facsimile documents will be accepted. Details of the bid will not be made to the public until an award has been made. The Tohono O'odham Nation reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any irregularities in any bid or to withhold the award for any reason it may determine. The Tohono O'odham Nation also reserves the right to hold any or all bids for a period of sixty (60) days after the date of the opening of the bids. No bidder may withdraw his bidding during the sixty (60) days after the bid opening.
