Description

This proposed procurement is for services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole source basis with; Procurement Resources, Inc., 111 Petrol Point, Suite 204, Peachtree City, Georgia 30269; NAIC 611430, size standard: $5.0. The service required will allow personnel to receive needed training for Socio-economic Procurement Training. This course has been specifically developed and tailored to meet the needs of NASA personnel. This training provides a unique philosophy about the advocacy and universal inclusion of NASA's small business programs, and how that inclusion of facilities will accomplish the Agency's objectives. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities, by fax on (301) 286-0357 or in writing to the Point of Contact by 4:00 pm on November 8, 2001. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. Such capabilities/qualification will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open market competition basis, based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Award of this procurement will be made using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The proposed procurement is 100% set-aside for small business. This announcement constitutes the solicitation only; proposals are not being requested. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.
