Description

MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR OF TOLEDO BRAND FOOD PROCESSING EQUIPMENT The Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) intends to issue a restricted solicitation with the intent of awarding a sole source contract to Mettler Toledo Company Inc. for the annual maintenance of Toledo brand name food processing equipment (wrapping systems, scales, etc.) located in DeCA commissaries throughout the continental United States, Alaska, and Hawaii. Coverage includes both scheduled preventive maintenance inspections and unscheduled service calls. The period of performance will be for a Base Period of June 1, 2002 through May 31, 2003 and shall include four one-year option periods that may extend performance until May 31, 2007. Contractors must provide proof that they are authorized Toledo distributors, have received the necessary training to repair Toledo equipment, and are able to obtain Toledo parts for maintenance. NOTE: Solicitation Documents are not available; however, a copy of the solicitation will be posted on FedBizOps.gov upon release. Information received as a result of this Notice of Intent will be considered solely for the determination on whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No contract will be made on the basis of any response to this notice. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 811310 and the business size standard is $5 Million. Organizations who believe they meet the requirements as identified above may submit their company information, no later than December 5, 2001, to: Defense Commissary Agency, CICST (Missy Rios), 1300 E Avenue, Fort Lee, VA 23801-1800.
