Description

VA Medical Center, Canandaigua, NY is seeking qualified firms with the capacity and capability to provide all necessary labor, supervision, materials, software programming and subscription, tools, supplies, equipment, incidental engineering and management required to perform maintenance on pneumatic controls and Johnson Controls Metasys Facility Management and DSC 8500 systems for the entire complex. Work includes the performance of service work, preventative maintenance of equipment, routine and periodic inspections and tests, and other services as described in the specifications. REQUIRED: Must be able to provide both manufacturer certified software and hardware services. North American Industry Classification (NAICS)code for this acquisition is 334512, Automatic Environmental Control Manufacturing for Residential, Commercial, and Appliance Use. Small business size standard is 500 employees. This is an unrestricted solicitation and open to all interested firms. The period of performance is for a base period of nine months with one, one-year option. The total performance period will not exceed two years. Service to commence on or about January 1,2002. Procurement made using FAR 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and source selection methods for awards. Attendance at pre-proposal job walk tentatively scheduled for November 15,2001 is considered essential. The solicitation and resultant contract award is subject to availability of current fiscal year funding. Solicitation packages will be available on or about November 5,2001.
