Description

Note 22 applies to this announcement. The U.S. Department of the Interior, Minerals Management Service, GovWorks Procurement Operations intends to procure sole source, follow-on IT services from Bayside Computing, Defuniak Springs, FL. Services are for design, development, testing, and support of real-time embedded, networked, and mission-critical software related to all aspects of the Joint Advanced Missile Instrumentation (JAMI) Program. Minimum design and programming skills rquired for this effort are expected to cover the gamut between networking and user GUIs to real-time, and chip-level programming using C, C++, and various assembly languages. Techniques to be used include OOP with emphasis on maintainability and reusability. Application experience required includes airborne telemetry and de-commutation, TCP/IP communications, GPS familiarity, missile program experience, and general test range knowledge. Serves to be rendered to the 46th Test Wing at Eglin AFB. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government shall not be responsible for any costs associated with preparing a response to this notice.
