Description

The U.S. Army TACOM-ARDEC will release DRAFT Solicitation DAAE30-02-R-0802 on or about 5 November 2001 for M782 Multi-Option Fuzes for Artillery (MOFA) Production. DRAFT Solicitation #DAAE30-02-R-0802 replaces #DAAE30-01-R-0526 (Market Survey Submission #5019E9) and will be available for download on http://procnet.pica.army.mil. The M782 is the multi-option fuze for artillery, which provides four modes of operation (point detonating, delay, time, and proximity). This fuze is intended for use with all bulk filled artillery munitions used in 105mm and 155mm howitzer systems. Award of a multi-year contract limiting competition to the U.S. and Canadian sources is contemplated. This DRAFT Solicitation is issued for the purpose of soliciting industry questions and comments on content of the RFP. Your response should be submitted by email to mshuster@pica.army.mil; the due date for responses is 28 November 2001. Answers appropriate for public dissemination will be posted as an appendix to the DRAFT Solicitation. The actual Solicitation is planned for release on or about 17 December 2001; a Presolicitation Notice will be published 15 days prior to release.
