Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for noncommercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number N00164-02-Q-0018 applies and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27 as well as DCN 20011001. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 332710 and the business size standard is 500 employees. This requirement is as follows: CLIN 0001 6000 each candle base to be manufactured in accordance with Picatinny Arsenal Drawing 9213699 Rev F with an option to purchase 6000 more. Spec is available for downloading in PDF Format via http://www.crane.navy.mil/supp Delivery is required F.O.B. Destination within 45 days after 1st article acceptance. Government Quality Assurance at source with final inspection at NSWC Crane. Selection for award will be based on technical compliance, past performance and price. Quotes that are non-compliant with any material requirement of this solicitation may be rejected without further consideration for award. All responsible sources may submit a quote that will be considered by the Agency. A Firm-Fixed Price purchase order will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
