Description

This Solicitation seeks the services for producing an approximate combined total of 269,000 containerized forest conifer seedlings for the Mt. Hood and Wallowa-Whitman National Forests during the calendar year 2002 growing season. Approximately 148M are to be produced in the Ventblock 91/130, 56M in the Ventblock 160/90, 32M in the Ventblock 112/105, and 33M in the Ray Leach Super Cell. Acceptable equivalent cells will be listed in the Solicitation. The species will include: Ponderosa pine (92M), Noble fir (60M), Western white pine (35M), Western larch (23M), Douglas-fir (18M), Lodgepole pine (30M), Englemann spruce (10M), and 0.5M each for Alaska Yellow cedar and Sitka alder.
