Description

The Pacific Regional Contracting Office, Tripler Army Medical Center, Hawaii has a requirement for harvesting & servicing Electrolytic Silver Recovery Units for TAMC. The contractor shall be responsible for the recycling and reclaiming of Silver(AG)/precious metals from spent silver rich solution/silver recovery units, medical/dental diagnostic waste streams, X-ray and/or photographic film and dental scrap. The contractor shall provide the recovery of Silver/precious metals bearing substances towards the optimization of its intrinsic value and environmental compliance. Environmental compliance shall be consistent with local,state, and federal regulations/discharge limits. The contractor shall provide analytical services consistent with the end objective of identifying image service waste treatment compliance and/or Silver reclamation. Harvesting and Servicing electrolytic silver recovery units shall be in accordance with the Statement of Work. PRCO anticipates an award of a firm-fixed price contract resulting from the Request for Quotation. The solicitation will be evaluated based on experience/technical capabilities, past performance and price. The aniticpated period of performance will be from 1 Nov 01, 2001 through 30 September 2002 with four one-year options through September 30, 2006. The NAICS code is 541519 and size standard is 500 employees. The FSC code is Q999. The requirement will be solicited as Set-Aside 100% for Small Business.
