Description

UNICOR FPI intends to enter into a Firm Fixed price Requirements type contract for Fabric, Polyester/Cotton. The period of performance shall be for 3 years. Delivery is FOB Destination FCI Miami, FL. Delivery acceptance is 60 days after receipt of delivery order for the first delivery only and 45 days after receipt of delivery order on all subsequent deliveries. Delivery order minimum: 3,000 Yards, Delivery Order Maximum: 50,000 Yards. Product Samples are required to be submitted prior to the closing date of the solicitation. A one (1) yard sample from all offerors with the exception of the incumbent contractor shall be submitted to the attention Pete Diaz on or before the closing date of this solicitation (10/03/2001) at 2:00 pm. Swatch samples or descriptive literature will not be supplied by the Government. The award will be based on the Best Value to the Government. The Evaluation factors are: Past Performance, Ability to conform to specifications, and price. Additional information will be provided in the solicitation which is due to be issued on or about September 21, 2001. Please do not access UNICOR's website for this solicitation until that date. All interested parties shall retrieve a copy of the solicitation from UNICOR's website at www.unicor.gov.
