Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This requirement is for Nortel Networks Hardware Maintenance with a Coverage Period of 09/30/01 through 09/29/01. The hardware is located at four different sites, NAVICP Mech., NAVICP Phila., FMSO/NAVSUP, Mech., and NALC, Mech. This maintenance must be performed by technicians with knowledge of the equipment and who are certified in Nortel Networks. Copies of certifications shall be provided with submission of your RFQ. Please include in your quote the Terms and Conditions that are applicable to maintenance. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number N00104-01-Q-Q800 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) in accordance with FAR Part 13. The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed price basis and to solicit and negotiate the proposed contract on a competitive basis. All items must be Year 2000 compliant in accordance with FAR Clause 39.002 whiich in incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition. The provisions ar DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration (MAR 1998) is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition. This notice of intent is to request competitive proposals.
