Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. 01R000240 is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This RFQ and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. The NAICS code is 511210 and the size standard is $18 million. Line item 1 -- Site license for the 1999 MarketScan Commercial Claims & Encounters Database with the following: The data shall be housed concurrently at three (3) locations: 1) Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), 2) AHRQ's Automated Data Processing Services Contractor, and 3) Harvard University. Line item 2 -- The 1999 MarketScan Commercial Claims & Encounters Database shall come with the additional variable attached: The employer ID (encrypted). Line item 3 -- The 1999 MarketScan Commercial Claims & Encounters Database shall come with the following files: 1) The current UNIHOSP look-up table that includes hospital name and other identifying information such as city, zip code, etc. and 2) The current AHA ID crosswalk as is. Delivery shall be FOB Destination and made within 30 days from date of order. The shipping address is HHS/AHRQ, Executive Office Center, Suite 605, 2101 E. Jefferson St., Rockville, MD 20852. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial is applicable. Award shall be made to low price offeror capable of providing the above items. Offeros are advised to include a completed copy of provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items with its offer. The clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items is applicable.
