Description

Lackland AFB intends to issue a purchase order to Skytel for the ?Lease of Pagers, and Service Agreement for twelve (12) months Air Time starting 1 Oct 01 ? 30 Sept 02. A description of the pagers and service are as follows: 210 EA a month for 12 months Skyword plus message bundle with reply. 210 EA a month for 12 months Sky Reply Feature. 210 EA a month for 12 months pager maintenance. 200 EA for 12 months 800/888 per call surcharge from payphones. 2,000 EA a month for 12 months cost per message block for over calls. 200 EA a month for 12 months operator dispatch message (80 character message). 20 EA a month for 12 months shipping and handling. 20 EA service activation/shipping and handling. 20 EA operator dispatch activation. 40 EA equipment purchase P/N PF1500. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, all quotes received within 5 calendar days after the publication date of the synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination not to compete this requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This procurement will be awarded under Simplified Acquisition Procedure (SAP). Submit written offers via FAX (oral offers will not be considered) to FAX number is 210-671-3179, to Roxanne Chloros at 210-671-1725, or e-mail to the following chlorosrm@lackland.af.mil. The due date for all quotes will be 24 Sep 01, by 9:00 AM (CST) and acceptance must be good for 30 days. No solicitation document exists for this requirement. Requests for the same will be considered non-responsive. If no compelling responses are received, award will be made to Skytel. =20
