Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number N00164-01-Q-0328 is hereby issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The proposed contract is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27 as well as DCN 20001213. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 333912 and the size standard is 500 employees. This requirement is for the following: CLIN 0001 3 each enclosure assembly, P/N 1100AS111-1, NSN: 2835-01-206-1829 in accordance with the Statement of Work and drawings which can be downloaded at www.crane.navy.mil/supply/announce.htm. . Delivery is required F.O.B. Destination within 90 days after receiving Government Furnished Property. Final inspection and acceptance will be at NAVAIRSEFAC by Government QA personnel. NAVAIRSEFAC Solomons, MD will provide transportation to and from the vendor's facility for enclosure assemblies. Government Furnished Property to be furnished shall be delivered all transportation charges prepaid to the contractor within 14 days from the effective date of purchase order. Selection for award will be based on past performance and price. Quotes that are non-compliant with any material requirement of this solicitation may be rejected without further consideration for award. This will be a firm fixed price contract and will be awarded utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The contractor shall extend to the Government the full coverage of commercial sale warranty provided such warranty is available at no additional cost to the Government. Administration of the Government Property to be furnished hereunder shall be by the Contracting Officer, Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane Division, Crane, IN 47522. The Government Property to be furnished is identified as follows: 3 each P/N 1100AS111-1 ACQ Cost $237,000. The offeror shall provide its Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code, Contractor Establishment Code and Tax Identification Number. To be eligible for award you must be properly registered in the Government's Central Contractor Registration (CCR).
