Description

The U.S. Army Engineer District, New Orleans, has a requirement for a contractor to furnish labor, materials and services to drydock Fuel Barge BG-6010 and repair in accordance with specifications. The principal hull dimensions are: Length overall, 235'; Beam overall, 40'; Depth, 11'-9". Vessel will be inspected by the U.S. Coast Guard Marine Safety office for cargo tank examination and Certificate of Inspection renewal. Work will begin in November 2001. Solicitation DACW29-01-B-0096 is being issued as an Invitation For Bid (IFB). This requirement is being procured as a firm fixed price contract under FAR 12, Commercial Item, in conjuction with FAR 14, Sealed Bid. The applicable Standard Industrial Code is 3731. The NAICS code is 336611. This solicitation is issued as restricted to small businesses. All interested parties may request a complete solicitation package by fax, 504-862-2889.
