Description

Prepare a construction design, engineering and cost estimate, and required permitting documentation to support an FY02 or FY03 project to install drainage improvements at ARDEC's Gorge area test site. A non-competative contract is proposed with the RBA group in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, "Only One Responsible Source". RBA is presently under contract to MES Inc, who is the designer and constructor for ARDEC Master Planning Section for the preparation of construction documents and applicable permits (construction and environmental) for the Military Construction, Army project entitled: Precision Munitions Facility. Because of RBA's capabilities and specialized knowledge of ARDEC installation environmental, safety and health issues germane to operations and associated environmental safety and health requirements, procuring their services for this project will result in a significant savings for the US Government..
