Description

This is a synopsis for commercial items. The Library of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) intends to award a simplified acquisition on a sole-source basis to CCH Incorporated for legal publications/subscriptions and upkeep service. The following are examples of titles: Accountants SEC Practice Manual, Accounting Articles, American Stock Exchange Guide, Bankruptcy Law Reporter, Boston Stock Exchange Guide, Canada Corporation Law Reporter, Chicago Board Options Exchange Guide, Commodity Futures Law Reporter, Capital Changes Reporter, Congressional Index, Contract Appeals Decision Reporter, Corporate Secretary's Guide, Federal Banking Law Reporter, Federal Securities Law Report Newsletter, Mutual Funds Guide, NASAA Reports, NASD Manual, New York Stock Exchange Guide, Pacific Stock Exchange Guide, Philadelphia Stock Exchange Guide, SEC Accounting Rules, Securities Transfer Guide, Tax Court Reporter, Taxes, Trade Regulation Reporter, and Blue Sky Law Reporter. The period of performance will be for one year. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by 09/04/01 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
