Description

The Internal Revenue Service intends to issue a purchase order on a sole source basis to Pearson Education, 2004 Huntcliff Drive, Gambrills, MD, for reprinting "Federal Taxation 2002 -- Tax Law Research Techniques". Quanitity will be 25,000 copies each plus shipping. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A solicitation package will not be issued. Request for solicitation package will be considered nonresponsive. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the Agency. All quotatons must be received by 12:00noon Eastern Standard Time, September 10, 2001. If no affirmative responses are received the award will be made to Pearson Education.
