Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The combined Synopsis/Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is DAAE07-01-T-0018. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-46, dated 17 Mar 97. The associated North American Industrial Code System (NAICS) code is 333315. The U.S. Army TACOM requirement is for an ultra high-speed imaging camera system be procured that meets the following requirements: 1) minimum 17 consecutive frames at a rate of 1 million frames per second, 2) 12 bit digital output, 3) minimum 240 x 240 resolution, & 4) programmable user functions. This ultra high speed camera system will be utilized in the TACOM Armor Integration Laboratory for the purpose of image capture and manipulation of extremely high velocity ballistic impacts. The supply is for US Army TACOM, Warren, MI 48397-5000. No options will be included. FOB Destination will apply. Provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Offerors are advised to include a complete copy of the Provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. This acquisition is rated D04.
