Description

Contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, equipment, tools, materials, supplies and supervision necessary to perform all work in accordance with the Statement of Work for Structural interior design, building 239 on Goodfellow AFB, Texas. The work shall consist of, but not limited to 1) move existing furniture to on base storage location, 2) demolish existing carpet, existing cove base, existing vinyl asbestos tile (VAT), existing carpet wainscot and existing wainscot cap, 3) clean all walls, ceilings, interior doors and metal door jambs window sills and vent covers and prepared and prime for the application of contractor furnished paint/GFM vinyl wall covering, 4) install Government furnished carpet and vinyl wall covering 5) furnish and install new rubber cove base, adhesive and carpet transitions and 6) paint all interior walls and ceiling in bathroom areas interior side of door and window fame and ceilings, install VWC in the bedroom areas 7) Replace moved Furniture. NAICS code for this Acquisition is 233320 and the size standard is $27.5 Million. This solicitation is unrestricted for large and small business concerns. The magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. Performance time estimated 150 days. The anticipated date for a site visit is 12 Sep 01. The anticipated proposal due date is 28 Sep 01 with anticipated award date of 18 Oct 01. Exact dates will be shown in the Request for Proposal (RFP) when posted on or about 28 Aug 01. All requests for clarification must be faxed to 915-654-5149. In accordance with FAR 52.236-27 Offerors are urged and expected to inspect the site where the work will be performed. Access to the site will be limited to the organized site visit only. The solicitation will be available via the U.S. General Services Administration Electronic Posting System (EPS). All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered for award. This acquisition is primarily funded with nonappropriated funds and this portion does not obligate appropriated funds of the Unites States Government. Nonappropriated funds are generated by the military community through the sale of goods and services and the collection of fees and charges for participation in military community programs. This portion of the acquisition does not involve federal tax dollars.
