Description

In accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP), the National Park Service intends to issue a Request for Quotations (RFQ) to provide and install wood siding, wood framing, exterior moisture barrier, attic fan, and french drainage at the Carl Sandburg Home National Historic Site, Henderson County, Flat Rock, North Carolina. This project consist of sealing the entire perimeter of the building to resolve leakage, remove excess heat and moisture from the attic, provide drainage, where the ground is evenly flush with the foundation to eliminate water collection in the area. Holes cannot be drilled in the present structure. This is a Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 23599; the size standard is $11.5 million. Estimated price range: between $25,000 and $100,000. Tentative issue date: August 22, 2001.
