Description

This is a notice of intent to award on a sole-source basis for the commercial items in accordance to FAR Part 12 procedures, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only notice. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 3448. The U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) intends to contract with Fox Trailers, PO Box 00951, Toa Baja, PR 00951, to continue rental of one temporary office trailer measuring 48' x 40' at US Border Patrol Sector Headquarters, 722 Belt Road, Ramey Base, Aguadilla, PR 00604. The contractor shall provide one custom-built, modular, temporary office trailer measuring 48' x 40', outfitted with rest room, electrical connections, windows, doors, ceiling panels, light fixtures, carpet, divider walls, and air conditioners. This unit is required to be designed, built, transported, assembled on-site and fully operational not later than 10/01/2001. Questions may be directed to Shireen Melton at (802) 872-4102. This contract is for services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate only with Fox Trailers under the authority 41 U.S.C. 253 (c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 unless additional sources are located.
