Description

The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Farm Service Agency, Kansas City Administrative Office, intends to issue a sole source acquisition to Ohio State University, Dairy Economics, Research and Extension, 2029 Fyffe Rd., Columbus, Iowa, 43210-1095, for four (4) "Achieving Risk Management Success in Dairy" educational seminars for dairy producers to gain knowledge concerning developing market plans, introducing marketing tools including dairy futures, puts options, forward contracting, and improving marketing skills to improve profits. The content of these programs will introduce materials, resources, and concepts of risk protection to producers and information to provide producers the basics of developing a dairy Risk Management Program. Four (4) interactive seminars are scheduled to be in Ohio, one (1) session to be held in Wooster, one (1) session in Canton, one (1) session in Lima and one (1) session in various DOPP Counties. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this requirement no later than 7 days from the published date of this announcement to the above address. The determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct future competitive procurements. No solicitation document exists and requests for such document will be considered nonresponsive.
