Background "DATEL 7 AUG 01 F-15 SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT PRODUCTION OFFICE. POC 1Lt Kimberly Burt, Contract Negotiator/Rachael Harris, Contracting Officer, (937) 904-6673, ASC/FBAKE, The F-15 Strike Eagle Contracting Division. The F-15 Contracting Division (ASC/FBAK) at Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, OH, plans to enter into sole source procurement with the Boeing Company, P.O. Box 516, St. Louis, MO 63166-0156, under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1). Announcing a notice of contract action for the procurement of aircraft retrofit kits and of support for the installation of the BOL-515 Countermeasures Dispenser System on US Air Force F-15A/B/C/D aircraft. This firm-fixed price contract is for the procurement of all Group A components of the kit necessary to integrate the BOL dispenser system in the F-15. Boeing shall modify all Group A associated software and support equipment. Boeing will provide sustaining engineering under a time and material type arrangement. Boeing is the only source possessing the required technical knowledge, proprietary data, and facilities necessary to accomplish this effort.
