Description

DISCRIPTION AND STATEMENT OF WORK REQUIRED 2 6.2L ENGINE CUTAWAY (visual benefits of a working diesel engine for student learning). The engine will be cutaway to show all of the internal components. Each system (fuel, lube, and coolant and combustion air) will be cutaway to show complete function of the system. The complete engine will be painted with polyurethane (color of choice). The systems will be color-coded (fuel-yellow, lube-red, coolant-green, intake air-light blue, and exhaust-orange). The engine will be mounted on a stand with casters and will be motorized. A hand held controller with momentary switch will provide ON/OFF switching.
