Description

Subject announcement serves as Amendment 0002 to Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) DAAH01-01-R-TB01, previously published on 05 JUN 01. Subject BAA was issued in support of the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command's (AMCOM's) requirement for the Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS) Smart Tactical Rocket (MSTAR), to solicit proposals for research (or research ideas) for the demonstration of a munitions delivery system for the packaging and dispensing of smart munitions from the MLRS family of vehicles. Thi s amendment is issued to provide clarification with respect to the fact that: (1) restrictive markings included in headers or footers are not bound by the spacing and font size requirements that are applicable to the text body of the Technical Proposal Vol ume; and (2) the required electronic cost information copy may be submitted on either CD-ROM Disks, 3.5 inch, or standard Zip Disks. Subject amendment also deletes the requirement for cost data to be included on the title page. Accordingly, the following sentence, under the paragraph entitled Submission Process, that currently states: The title page must also include total funds requested for the effort and describe any cost share proposed, is hereby deleted from the subject BAA. This amendment is also i ssued to provide an update to the website address for AMCOM's Business Opportunity Site, https://wwwproc.redstone.army.mil/acquisition/current_business.html, where a complete copy of the BAA, as well as copies of questions received and corresponding respon ses provided, may be accessed by the public. Potential offerors are reminded that all questions concerning this procurement must be submitted in writing via e-mail, to the cognizant Contract Specialist, at kendra.blanks@redstone.army.mil. Answers to ques tions will be posted to the AMCOM Business Opportunity Website located at https://wwwproc.redstone.army.mil/acquisition/current_business.html.
