Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, Number MDA112-01-R-0004, is being issued as a Request for Proposals. Responses to this notice should be provided in writing by 9/06/01, 2:30 PM PST. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions/clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. The Government intends to procure 1 EA Turn-Key audio visual automation system, with associated line items on an all-or-none basis to be installed at Ft. Bragg NC. The statement of work and instructions for responding to this proposal can be found at ftp://www.tasa.army.mil/pub/ . A site visit is planned for approximately 8/21/01. Offerors wishing to attend must email Don Neal a listing of names of employees planning on attending the site visit. The system shall be delivered and installed FOB destination 90 days after receipt of order. This procurement is 100 percent set-aside for small business participation. The applicable NAICS code is 541512. The corresponding size standard is $18 million. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the agency.
