Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for noncommercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number N00164-01-Q-0276 applies and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27 and DCN 20001213. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 326199 and the business size standard is 500 employees. This requirement is as follows: CLIN 0001-. Continuous Wave Illuminator Traveling Wave Tube reusable shipboard containers with inter-pack, 2 each First Articles, 14 productions in accordance with NAVSURFWARCENDIV CRANE drawings and Statement of Work which is available at http://www.crane.navy.mil/supply/announce.htm, CLIN 0002 -- Switch Tube reusable shipboard containers with inter pack. 2 each First Articles, 42 productions in accordance with NAVSURFWARCENDIV CRANE drawings and Statement of Work which is available at site listed above. CLIN 0003 -- 10kW Traveling Wave Tube reusable shipboard containers with inter-pack, 2 each First Articles, 14 productions in accordance with NAVSURFWARCENDIV CRANE drawings and Statement of Work which is available at site listed above, CLIN 0004 -- Crossed Field Amplifier reusable shipboard containers with inter-pack, 2 each First Article, 22 production in accordance with NAVSURFWARCENDIV CRANE drawings and Statement of Work which is available at site listed above. Note -- The use of two contaminates in the inner-packs is prohibited: Ethyl Hexanoic Acid and Diethylene Glycol. To obtain the Drawing Package a request must be submitted to Ms. Brenda L. Bledsoe at the e-mail address or telephone number listed below. Delivery is required F.O.B. Destination to Crane, IN 47522 within 90 days after award. Final inspection and acceptance will be at NSWC CRANE. Selection for award will be based on past performance and price. Quotes that are non-compliant with any material requirements of this solicitation may be rejected without further consideration for award. All responsible sources may submit a quote that will be considered by the Agency. A Firm-Fixed Price purchase order will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
