Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. 01SQ1U0028 is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ) and incorporated provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. The size standard is 500 and the North American industry classification code is 333999. The U. S. Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) is seeking to purchase a Self-propelled telescopic boom manlift with articulating jib boom. (Equal to or better than Genie S-65). Offerors who believe they can provide equal to or better than the above reference equipment and want to be considered for this procurement must request a copy of this solicitation in writing, FAX# 509-454-5615. CLIN 001 -- Self-propelled telescopic boom manlift with articulating jib boom (Equal to or better then Genie S-65) to include: minimum extended platform height of 65 feet, maximum width of 8 feet, minimum ground clearance of 12 inches, 6 foot platform length, minimum 56 foot horizontal reach, minimum lift capacity 500 lbs., minimum outside turning radius of 23 feet, 360 degrees continuous turntable rotation, maximum 3'6" turntable tailswing, 12 VDC proportional platform controls with ramp up/down, minimum 160 degree hydraulic platform rotation, minimum 33 gallon fuel capacity, maximum 35,000 lbs total weight, 15 X 19.5 rough terrain foam filled tires, minimum 5 foot articulating jib boom with minimum +75 -60 degrees to horizontal, dual fuel gas/propane fuel injected engine with minimum 82 hp rating, 4 X 4 wheel drive with grade ability up to 40%, positive traction, oscillating axle system, duel extended cylinders, 12 V DC auxiliary power, Fuel select swith on platform and ground control panels, closed loop hydrostatic drive, self leveling platform locking turntable covers, anti restart engine protection, auto engine fault shutdown, Engine monitoring gauges, GFCI AC wiring to platform, wire braded hose, maintenance free pivot point bearings, tilt sensor with alarm, horn, hour meter; OPTIONS: Alarm Package, cold start package, 3000 watt AC generator, platform swing gate, air line platform, lockable platform control box cover, platform tool tray, and hydraulic oil cooler. 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items (Oct 00), 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items (Jan 01), 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certification-Commercial Items (May 01), 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items (May 01), 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items (May 01), Clause 52.215-5, paragraph (b) is tailored to incorporate the following clauses by reference: 52.219-8, 52.219.9 and 52.225-1.
