Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR 13.5 with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number is N00181-01-Q-0538. The solicitation document and incorporated provision and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. The NAICS code is 333994 and the small business size standard is 500. ITEM DESCRIPTION: SHT tile curing oven, oven to hold 20 tiles, shelf capacity at 50 pounds, operating temperature continuous to 350 degrees f, control power of 120/160, main power to be 460/360, class A rated, with a forced exhaust blower and a exhaust flow air switch with a purge timer. Oven shell to be aluminized sheet steel inside and out for corrosion and rust resistance, adjustable internal vertical supports to allow shelf adjustment, 15kw heating system rating, all other steel surfaces to be painted with an industrial grade, salt air resistant enamel finish; electrical components to include magnetic motor starters with overload protection, magnetic control relay, control transformer, NEMA rated panel enclosure, high limit circuitry alarm, panel mounted 30 amp main disconnect. Ovens must have external dimensions of approximately: 6 ft. width x 3 ft. depth x 6 ft. high. QUANTY 2 each. Required delivery on or before September 28, 2001. The following provisions and clauses apply to this solicitation and are incorporated by reference: FAR provision 52.212-1, 52.212-2, 52.212-4, 52.212-5, 52.247-34 and DFAR 252.212-7000.
