Description

Provide all material, labor, equipment and supervision necessary to renovate approximately 9580 GSF at the existing patient ward (Ward 3N) on the 3rd floor of Building 2. Work includes demolition of existing construction inside of exterior walls (architectural, mechanical, plumbing and electrical) to allow for installation of new material & equipment as detailed on the plans and specifications. The new space will contain 14 patient bedrooms (4 single rooms & 10 double rooms) with a private bath for each room. Additional support spaces include, but are not limited to, a central nurse station, medication room, dictation room, nourishment room, clean & soiled utility rooms, equipment & general storage rooms, staff toilet, housekeeping room and staff offices. Exterior walls will be refinished on the interior side. No exterior work is required except as necessary to enclose 2 windows at the north end of the building. No asbestos abatement is required. Estimated cost range is between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000. Performance period is 360 calendar days after Notice to Proceed. All responsible sources may submit a bid for consideration.
