Description

The United States Department of the Interior (DOI), Minerals Management Service (MMS), Minerals Revenue Management (MRM), intends to acquire through a non-competitive acquisition, Citrix server support services. Services include: Consulting, documenting, training (both formal and informal covering a variety of thin client technologies), troubleshooting, and maintenance support services (ex., 30-minutes response time to phone calls, 4-hour onsite response time from initial contact, support provided from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., MST, Monday thru Friday). Based on information available at this time, and in accordance with 41 U.S.C. 252(c)(1), implemented by FAR 6.302-1, the Government considers the services described above as a sole source from the Boulder Corporation, 3210 Valmont Road, Boulder, Colorado and proposes to negotiate a contract on that basis. The Boulder Corporation is a Citrix Premier Solutions Network provider which ensures a quality level of services and allows MRM access to Citrix engineering support. The Boulder Corporation is a Microsoft Certified Solutions Partner which ensures compatibility and engineering support with our current environment. The period of performance will include a base period (12 months) and one (12 months) option period. Offerors who feel that they have a good business case to challenge the Government's position are invited to submit, in writing, an affirmative response to this announcement. The written notification (including a telephone number for a point of contact) is due within forty-five calendar days from the date of this synopsis. An affirmative response shall include all information necessary to be evaluated to determine if a competitive opportunity exists. Telephone requests will not be honored. Since no solicitation document exists, requests for such a document without the accompanying information will be considered to be non-responsive to this request without further consideration. This notice may represent the Government's only official notice of this procurement. See Numbered Notes 22 and 26.
