Description

The U.S. Marine Corps Direct Reporting Program Manager for Advanced Amphibious Assault (DRPM AAA) intends to award a sole source purchase order to Virtual Prototypes Inc., 4700 de la Savane, Suite 300, Montreal, Quebec, H4P 1T7, Canada for a VAPS Development Toolkit with C Code Generator (CCG) Lite for NT. The VAPS software kit is a software-engineering tool for developing display Graphical User Interface (GUIs) and for determining and mitigating integration risks in a Windows NT environment. The VAPS software kit will be used on the Marine Corps Advanced Amphibious Assault Vehicle (AAAV) which is currently being developed by prime contractor General Dynamics Amphibious Systems for the Marine Corps at the AAAV Technology Center, 991 Annapolis Way, Woodbridge, VA 22191-1215. The VAPS software kit will provide Government software engineers a common tool already being used by the prime contractor for the AAAV. Having a common tool will facilitate the development and exchange of files between the Government and Contractor. The VAPS software tool is proprietary to Virtual Prototypes Inc.
