Description

Sole source. The United States Army Yuma Proving Grounds (USAYPG), intends to negotiate a contract with Zepco Sales & Service, 508 N. Central Expressway, Richardson, TX 75080 for Twenty (20) each Electronic Tachograph (part number 131804, Forty (40) each Sending Unit Argo 1318(part number 8172327002, Twenty (20) each 16 Foot Speed Harness (part number 8171418008), Twenty (20) each 16 Foot RPM Harness (part number 9999114806), Twenty (20) each Serial Data Link (part number ZTR-9015-A. These tachographs are the units currently in use at YPG. Use of other than these units would required significant cost and mission delay for remanufacturing of mounts, reprogramming of data collection equipment and increased complexity of test operations. This order will be issued using Commercial Acquisition Procedures. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 334514 with a size standard of 500. Responses other than the above source may identify their interest and capability to supply the requirements in a written proposal. Proposals shall include complete mailing address, point of contact, phone number, facsimile number and business size. As this action is being conducted as a acquisition of a commercial item (FAR Part 12.6), award will be made 7 days after publication of this notice. (FAR 5.203 (b)(c).
