- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. F13C2211720600 is being issued as a Request for Quotation, which incorporates provisions and clauses for commercial items in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. This acquisition is reserved for small businesses; however, the Government is accepting proposals from large businesses. In the event of insufficient small business participation, award will be made to participating large businesses. The associated NAICS code for this acquisition is 334220. McConnell AFB KS plans to procure one (1) each of the following items:(a)Motorola Part Number 01-P36009M009, Model Number UEC-120, a remote control unit with 30/90 MHz, 400-420 MHz, Private Line, 5Khz, and URC-500 compatibility that controls one radio; (b)Motorola Part Number 30-P35581J001-020-05, Model Number URE-U-A10-010-05, cable for URC-200 to Remote Accessory, cable length is 20 feet, audio pigtail is 5 feet; (c) Motorola Part Number 50-P36033M002, Model Number PTSH-104, amplified remote speaker (universal mount); (d) Motorola Part Number 85-P39221N001, Model Number UVU-110S, spring antenna. The following provisions in their latest editions apply to this solicitation: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors ? Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation ? Commercial Items (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factor shall be used to evaluate offers: Price.; 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications ? Commercial Items, (offerors shall include a completed copy as part of their quote.); 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions ? Commercial Items; and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders ? Commercial Items (Deviation). Additional FAR clauses cited within the above clauses, which are applicable, will be incorporated into the solicitation and the resulting contract. Award will be made to the most responsive offeror proposing the Motorola equipment determined to be the most advantageous to the government in accordance with the evaluation factor listed above. Offerors shall respond to this combined synopsis/solicitation by 4:30 P.M. CST on 20 July 01.
