Description
DESCRIPTION: Provide all labor, material, equipment, transportation and supervision required to Upgrade Fire Alarm System in Bldg 5614 at USCG Atlantic Strike Team, Fort Dix, NJ as follows: 1.1 Provide new module in the existing 24 VDC addressable fire alarm panel (Faraday MPC-2000 in equipment building) to tie the new addressable fire alarm panel in building 5614 as shown on sheet E-01. 1.2 Disconnect and remove the existing fire alarm panel and the associated devices, wire and conduit in building 5614 as shown on sheet E-02. USCG personnel will remove the existing battery operated smoke/gas detectors after the new fire alarm system is completed and tested. 1.3 Provide and program new fire alarm panel ?MPC-1000? and devices (match to the existing) in building 5614 as shown on sheet E-03. 1.4 Reprogram the existing addressable panel ?MPC-2000? in equipment building, to transmit to base fire station trouble and fire alarm in building 5614 through existing dedicated line. Train two persons from USCG to program operation and maintenance as required by the fire alarm manufacturer and NFPA. In accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program this procurement is open to both small and large businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 235310 (formerly SIC Code 1731), the Small Business size standard is $ 11.5 million.
